Default Sequential Brakelights

I am interested in getting sequential brake lights put on my '09 GT. I have read that some people have had trouble with theirs. Since they will be stock on the 2010 Mustangs, should I wait and hope I can have the dealership put them on for me? I am hoping that by having them do it, they will fall under my bumper to bumper warranty. Thoughts?

I'd get them now and quit worrying about warranty crud. Most vendors selling the sequentials will replace them if there's a problem anyway (at least those that have had problems say so).

I wouldnt be worried about the warranty either but if everyone has these sequentials then they become a bit less cool

I have heard they will be coming stock as well and i think it blows but it doesn't stop me from loving mine any less i got them because I like them and in LA with 405 Traffic its probably the most noticeable mod you can do out here =) hahaha I got WebElectrics from AM and have had them for about 2 months now and they work perfectly =) Just one more thing that makes my stang my own =).

Yea, sequentials will be stock on the mustangs along with LED taillights is what I have seen when they talk about them. I would just put them on if you want, they are very easy to put on yourself and the people who make them warranty them. I think I have had mine on for a year now and I always see people pointing at them, kinda funny. It will suck when the 2010s get released and they all have sequentials but eh, whatever.

Yep the '10s have them. I saw some LED sequential bulbs the other day but I can't seem to find them again! They weren't full new light housings, just sequential LED bulbs.

Just put my sequentials from Brenspeed on last night. They look awesome, install was EXTREMELY easy.

The 2010 mustang will only sequence when the turn signal is on but not the brakes!! So when they brake it will light up normally!! Our sequentials sequence when braking as well as when your turn signal is on!! So i guess they will still be unique in a way!!
I love the look of mine and you should get them!!

On these kits, does the inner-most bulb become a dual filament bulb acting as both a parking light (dim) AND a brake/turn light (bright)?
