Should I paint my A47 Mirrors?
#28
Here's MO.
If your car is black you need to paint em cause otherwise it will look like your just too cheap to pay for the paint.
Its a fact, if you have contrasting colors then you could get away with the flat look but 2 shades of the same color comes off as a mismatch and looks real bad. Flat black on gloss black aint cuttin it.
Curious how the flat black triangle/stem with gloss black pod would look though.

My opinion up to this point has been based on pics I've seen of other rides. But now Ive got my Agent47s. The design is totally awesome compared w/the stock mirrors. Cant wait to get em put on.
They are not perfectly smooth - have some very fine pebble texture to em. I am disappointed in the final finish of them (anyone else?) There is seam line running down front of the support that needs to be removed - not a big deal. But... Theres also major depth variation on the triangle base part that looks pretty bad in the right light. Anyone elses like this or is it just mine? Due to that they absolutely have to be prepped and painted - I will not put em on like that. Would appreciate some feedback on this if its with all of em or just mine.
DarkFireGT - I guess you had them smoothed for that purpose? How much did it cost you to get em prepped n painted if you dont mind sayin?
