Default Headlight Splitters

I installed a set of 3D Carbon headlight splitters on my car some time back. The more I look at them the less I like them. Is there a release agent of some kind that I can use to remove them without messing up the head lights?

to remove them, you might just wanna use a 6ft strand of fishing line and fold it in half and slip it under the edge of the splitter and use a sawing motion to cut through the double sided tape, then use goo gone and remove the adhesive residue and BOOM done!

I've always wondered, don't those things affect light output?
