White stang with matte black stripes...

i have matte black stripes from balitmore street mods and i have never gotten water spots and they are super easy to keep clean. Waxing isnt that bad, just be patient. BSM uses high quality vinyl. The cheaper stuff mite be a pita but mine havent given me any troubles and they've been on the car for 1.5yrs. I say go for the matte black and make sure its quality vinyl

well i can get either stripe kit for between $125-$150 shipped...i think for what im going for, ill need to stay on the glossy side of black....it will be the roush kit so its the thick (a bit thicker than the vinyl on my current kit) vinyl to begin with so it should be high quality....ill find out more info tomorrow when one of the vendors gets back to me with the final price and which kit it is he has....

I have vinyl matte stripes on my car right now and they do look great but I'm getting mine painted gloss. Vinyl and matte stripes are too much hassle. Painted is not that much more. The economy sucks and people work for less $ now. JMO

the stripes on the car now are vinyl gloss black with a red pin stripe on the edge....its a custom cut kit....i want to replace it with the gloss black roush kit because it will get rid of the red pin which is what im after and fill all that in with black so i will be gaining and extra 1/2" on both stripes for an over all gain of 1" in width making the stance of the car more aggressive....thats what im after....more aggressive while getting rid of the red on the stripes....i can get the kit for $125 and i can get it put on for like $200-250...i would like to have the stripes painted but any reputable place around here will charge at least $1k and im sure Pascal will charge me more....we'll see how it works out within the next week or so.........................

Not trying to thread jack, or be a picture *****. But, I do have flat on my Grabber. Not only do I love them, but everyone I've met that's a car buff loves them too.
They're not a PITA at ALL to clean. They don't spot or discolor. You just need to be careful when waxing. This is easy to solve, though. Just get a big piece of flexible magnet, like you see on commercial vehicles. You just lay that over the stripes while you wax. Easy as can be.
