Sixx, is the battery crooked in the photos or is it just me? Maybe the photo is getting a little distorted towards the edges.

Regardless, mine shipped on Monday!

No the battery is not crooked. The tie-down is a little too big for the stock battery. Maybe an aftermarket batt. would fit better. I think the top bar of the tie down is bigger
than the battery box.

I got mine from Blue Oval Ind. I know people have had issues with them in the past. In fact, when I ordered mine, I got the Shelby tie-down. They sent me the regular one. I sent an e-mail to them, and they told me to send the wrong one back, and sent me the right one. Moss Mustang also carries them. About $65.00

Sixx, received mine today (can't install - storage). Based on the very clear install instructions I received, NONE, I went back to your photos. This still utilizes the strap?!?

I would have expected something from Scott Drake, not to cheap out and not even include two up bars to connect the cross section too.

Yes the strap is still used. The bracket in the back tightens down over the strap. The instruction sheet that came with mine was from Shelby Performance Parts. Send me a PM with your email and I will scan you a copy of the sheet.
