Default most durable aluminum rear window louver set?

looking for something that will last through wind, rain, snow, storm.. I have the astra hammond texturized hard plastic rear window louvers but the viability sucks and I have a feeling that the plastic will crack during extreme weather.

for everyone that has the aluminum ones, do you all keep them on year round or take them off during the winter? any extra care in order to keep them in shape and new looking??

i have the astra hammond aluminum louvers

theyve been outside in a class 3 hurricane without a scratch, so theyre pretty durable (and they have WAAAAYYY more visibility than the plastic ones)

and before you all start freaking out that i left my car outside in a hurricane, i didnt have a garage at the time, and it was just a bunch of rain and wind

i have been looking at the MRT, they are my favorite. I wouldnt think durability should be an issue with any of them though.

i dont know what brand mine are, i wasnt around when my body shop recieved them but i ordered the aluminum ones from mossmustang.com and i love them...im in oregon where it is freaking freezing and i have no problems with it. it sits in a garage at nite but outside all day when im at work and has spent a few nites outside while i was away...so those are good ones too.

those are the ones I plan on replacing mine with.. should have gotten them in the first place, but I went with the hard plastic because of the price lol. $100 or so cheaper, but they aren't all that great IMO compared to the aluminum ones.

thanks for the input!~

they look 100% better then the plastic ones as well...

I've had my MRT/Visus aluminum louvers on for around 2yrs now.
Still in great shape. NO issues at all. No rattles, loose mount pads or any problems.
