I received my extension cover and fuse box cover a few weeks ago but have been too lazy to install them. I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Looks great!

does a nice job of covering up the throttle body. I'm hoping Midwest comes out with a similar extension that will work with their plenum cover. This extension will only work with the Ford plenum cover.

Good point....could you maybe just drill a couple of small bolts into the MAG cover? Trying to remember what the front of it looks like......

I swear you have one of the nicest engine bays on an S197. I have always wanted the other covers to match the plenum cover, but have spent the money elsewhere. One of these days... when I finish with my go mods, I will get around to it. Looks awesome!
Thank you very much, and I have been there and done that as well....

Thanks group...

The issue with the Midwest plenum cover is that it doesn't extend out as far over the throttle body as the Ford one. There would be a gap between the end of the Midwest plenum cover and the edge of this plenum cover extension like you got.

Looks great Mike.
I have the extension also but since I bought the plenum cover used and the extension new...the colors don't match exactly.
I will probably just paint them both so I don't have to worry about it.

Yes it is a very nice looking cover, I see I"ll be needing to get one for mine. Mike your engine bay looks good , seems like a lot of ppl always forget to dress up under the hood but you have done a nice job with yours. Where did you get the ext cover ? Save me searching time...lol

If you are located in south central PA you can just swing by CJ Pony Parts and pick one up.

However, from you sig it looks like you are running the Midwest Autogear plenum cover (same as me - see my sig). If so, the plenum cover extension won't work - the Midwest cover is shorter (doesn't extend out over throttle body) than the Ford plenum cover that this extension is designed to work with.
