Everytime I've seen off center stripes on a car, I think it looks bad. I also don't like the single thin stripes, for me its either two large ones down the center, or one big one down the center.

That actually doesn't look bad...I think it's one of those things i'd never do to my car, but would look cool on OTHER people's cars.

staggolee got it right. that saleen looks pretty good, but i wouldn't do it to my car. even though it looks good, it would look better with normal stripes.

I have seen the Tungsten S197 with a slightly darker, single wide stripe off center and an off center hood scoop and it looked a bit strange but kinda cool.

The red stripe on the blue saleen in the post above follows the outside contour and is curved rather than following the centerline and being straight. Dont think I ever seen anyone do stripes like that before and I guess its cause it looks stupid.

Of course, I'd expect that car to also have a red stripe down each seat! Also not centered! Might get a little expensive!
The front twin fender stripe are something I saw on the last cruise. Thought it might be a gang or club thing. I'm sure someone will clarify that...;-)

Some one in a Mustang club I am with down here in Miami has those 2 red fender stripes and I believe he mentioned a while back the were in honor of someone's racing accomplishment.
