I have a black 07 Mustang and I just received my mat black rally stripes from Baltimorestreetmods. My question is, does anyone have any last minute suggestions or personal experience before I take this task on?

I’m looking forward to the new look but a little nervous because I’ve never done this before.

 

Laying down vinyl, make sure the surface is good and wet, you don't want it to be sticking when you are ready for it to do so. Also make sure you've got another set of hands and eyes. Putting the stripes on the roof can be a real PITA by yourself, especially if you are on the short side, plus your perception of straight may not be someone elses.

 

Yeah if the car is wet and use an extra spray bottle to keep the area wet, you can manipulate the stripes until they are perfect. when ur done post some pics im thinkin about goin to mat black

I was really thinking of doing this on my own but you’ve convinced me that it would be a bad idea. I will definitely put up some pictures once is done.
