Question How to remove V6 Engine Plenum Cover????

Hey guys,

I need help here. I am trying to remove my plenum engine cover that I got from midwest auto gear and the damn thing is stubborn on there. I would just pull the hell out of it, but I do not want it to break. Has anyone had experience taking theirs off yet? I need some tips!

This it the one I have:

There are a couple of "L" tabs/arms under the plenum cover that hold it in place. Fell along the underside edges of the cover, find two on one side and gently pull towards you, should pop off after that.

Thanks Doug I have tried almost everything, including look for those "L" tabs underneath, but my fingers barely fit under it. I am going to be calling up the owner of midwest auto gear he gave me his cell to try to help me out.

If I remember correctly, it's easier to get the right side off first. Wish I had my car out so I could tell you for sure, good luck with MWAG!

Hey thanks for the tips retro. I wound up getting it off, but I just yanked it off. I spoke with this guy from midwest auto gear and he tried to help me through it. You pretty much need to have the smallest hands in the world to get underneath it haha
