You could try contacting the grand pa who has the one in your link to find out where he got his.

Here are some links for 3rd brake light decals:

some mustang ones but no "giddy up": http://www.bobwhitedecals.com/BrakeLight.html

custom decals: http://www.sterlingdecals.com/cu19fomu3rdb.html

and: http://vinzdecals.com/createbrakeoverlay.html

FYI the vinzdecals offer a big choice of fonts and decal colors to better match your car paint instead of just black. I think Im gettin one from them myself now.

Never seen or done anything like this before so I'll ask a dumb question.
Do those decals go on the inside or outside of the light?

It goes on outside. Clean lens with some alcohol or mild detergent first.

Be careful aligning it on the lens cause once it touches you will probably not be able to pull it back off to realign it w/o tearing it.

I got my decal from VinzDecals. I ruined the first one and had to buy a second one. Damn my impatience...

It may be tough to read, but it says "21 OR BUST." I haven't heard many comments about it except at cruises, and even then, not so much. It's a bit inconspicuous methinks...

Picture time!

swirl marks for the loss. I hadn't waxed the car...ever...when that pic was taken :/

Probably most people are too slow to make the connection between your decal and plate. I only have the Mustang decal and get frequent comments on it after anyone sees it when the brakes have been applied.

I have an idea for you: take some black "brush on" paint and paint the lens around the edges of your decal. It will look much better. I did this to mine and it is a big diff in the quality look of it especially when the brake is applied - no more bleed out the sides. I used testors model paint and a tiny little brush.

Maybe that is why you dont get many comments - it looks like a sticker but if you paint around the perimeter people will think the lens was made like that. Look at your pic and you will see what I mean.

Yea the bleeding is bad. I never really considered it a problem before, but now that you've offered an easy solution, it sounds like a nice afternoon project haha.

The only thing is, Delaware offers all black tags with white numbers if your plate number is low enough.

If I could secure a low enough number, I might be tempted to switch haha.

Thanks for your suggestion!
