Where can I find a license plate relocation like the one (I think on the saleen body style)
To put the license plate over the rear emblem . I am wanting to do something custom with the rear bumper and will require moving the plate up.

You don't have too many, options in regards to just a relocation since a majority of the S197s are in the same place. Now like you said, you could go with he Saleen, but you need to get that body kit. From what it sounds like, you want yours like the new edge. If that is the case, then possibly a new back bumper is in order :/

 

What is a new edge ? this is the first time that I have heard of that . I typed in (new edge mustang )and it brings up older mustang 2 valve pics

 

You are correct. From what it sounds like, thats the general look you are going for (IMHO), and the Saleen type.

Like I said, you will have to buy a new rear bumper to achieve this.

 

well actually I am designing a rear diffuser that will require the bottom half of the stock bumper to be removed . Also the spare tire compartment that hangs down under the car will be removed and a flat trunk floor pan will be installed to make room for the diffuser that will take up most of the rear bumper .The rear collision bumpers will have to be replaced with chrome molly or aluminum tubing to make room .

I don't know what I am thinking . How hard would it be to mount a license plate and put a license plate light . I could use an old camaro fold down mounting bracket so that I could fold down the plate for the trunk keyhole .
