Default Magnetic rear blackout panel...worth it?

Considering buying a rear black out panel for my torch red '08. Don't think I like the idea of the fixed (with adhesive) panel, but may consider the magnetic one advertised on American Muscle. Seemed to get pretty good reviews. Anyone else try it?

I love the SHR Honeycomb blackout panel i bought. I was considering the magnetic one, but glad i didnt. The only reason i wouldnt get the SHR one is if i didnt have the oem grille that matches its design

the magnetic panel does the job as for looking like a blacked out panel which it is but as far as fitting perfectly and really looking sharp, i dont think this is the right product...it just depends on how critical you want to get

Had it on my car years ago for about a month.
It's a giant refrigerator magnet that attracts dust.

Considering you can get the magnetic panels on ebay for under $39 on occasion, it's probably worth getting one to see if you like it. Personally, I'd go with one of the more permanent. I have the honeycomb from SHR. Definately dresses up the back end. Here's before and after pics.

I had one before I got my SHR, it wasn't bad it scratched easily and got dirty quickly. I would recommend getting one as a test if you think you want something more perminent but don't want to commit without seeing the general look first. If you are just cheap and don't want to spend the money but want the look then get the a vinyl one from Baltimore Street Mods for $25. They look good and are a lot more durable then the magnetic ones.

I had a magnetic one on my car for a whole day...it looked cheap and fit like sh*t! it did however help make my mind up about having a blackout panel though... ended up getting a xenon blackout and havent looked back!
