I went with a 17 1/2'' stripe with 1/4'' pins, 1 1/2'' gap, then 2 1/2'' stripe with 1/4'' pins.

My car is in the shop right now, It was taken apart and painted. I went and took a look at her today and she looks awesome. I should have her back in a few days and I'll post some pictures for you.

Has no one seen the solid stripe on the Terlinguas? I think it looks good, as long as it's from the roof back.
