That seems to be where I am starting to lean.

285/40/18 on a 10" rim in rear
255/45/18 on a 9" rim in front

You can try to get those wheels from American Muscle (scroll down a bit): http://www.americanmuscle.com/2005wheels.html

Send a PM to AMNick for a 6% discount. They will also mount and balance your tires for free and shipping is free as well. That might be a good route for you to take moneywise.

Good luck!

I have Nitto NT555 and I like 'em!

Sounds like a plan and the car should look great!

If I was seriously attempting that retro look, I'd consider 15" or 16" wheels so I could mount something in the neighborhood of a 60 or 70 series. Add some RWL's to that and I'd be happier than a pig in sh*t!

Regarding width, here's a look at my 275's...

No Cervini B2 setup here...
Don't like those stupid headlights extensions that come with it.
Besides, they don't work with my bumper.

I have the Foose aluminum hood.

I thought about doing something like that, but I have to find a happy medium. Low profile is not my style and going 60's or 70's will sacrifice any kind of handling, imo. I think 45 is a good medium. Some sidewall meat and not sloppy in the corners.

Nice look on the 275's. Love em fat.

Ohhhhh reallllllyyyyy??? I must check that out. I didn't like the idea of fiberglass but didn't realize that I had options on that. I'll have to check out the Foose.

Or a little wider... mine are 285/40 rear with 255/45 front for a nice staggered look.
