Default Old School

Hey folks

I recently purchased a 1007 White GT. Currently running factory wheel/tire package.

Its time to start modding. I'm going for old school look. This will match my future restored (in early stages) 1972 White Mach 1.

I am looking to go with the Magnum 18" wheels but don't know if I should go with 8, 9, or 10". I want some width and sidewall. I don't like the low-profile look for what I am trying to achieve.

What does the width buy me in terms of how the Stang will look?

Pics of yours???

A 1007? I'd say you're officially "old school" already. good job.

Yeah, lol.
You have a Pegasus if yours is that old...

In your case, I'd go 9 wide all around or staggered with 10 on the back.

Oops. Yes. 1007. Its made entirely out of wood. I park it next to my ark.

Ok. 9s sound good. If I were to go 10's on the back, would I want tire to be wider than front?

I'm also thinking something like 145/50R/18.

Nice hood Pascal. That's exactly the hood I want. Cervini's full B2 setup.

Let me check 2...2...2...2...2.

Nope. It works fine. Apparently I'm just a moron this weekend.

Thanks Doogie - I'll check out that thread.

I'd do a 285/40/18 in the rear on a 10".

Damm it! I was really looking forward to seeing his new Pegasus rolling on some 145 horse shoes but you guys had to weck it for me! LOL!

If your going 10"s out back you may even want to go up to 295x45
