What do you guys think of painting the lower rocker panel on an alloy stang black. I've seen a couple around and thought it looked pretty cool anybody have pics? Thanks Stick

An Alloy V6 will have black rockers stock. I'm sure there are tons of pics online.

I don't like the idea of black rockers as it makes the car appear higher off the ground. I prefer body color rockers to make the car appear lower.

I would agree with what suoperdave said above. The gt500 has the black rocker panels....

I also love the look of the black rockers. I think it's especially fitting with the GT500 rear bumper. I plan on leaving mine black, as I will have a black chin spoiler and GT500 rear.

I like the black rocker look.

You might be able to trade rockers with a V6 that wants the GT look.

I've got an alloy v6 mustang w/ pony package. Black rocker panels came with it. Will try to take pics when I find my camera.

I plan to paint mine flat black to match the CDC chin spoiler. You can also find a black set on eBay by searching "GT500 rocker" but kind of pricey vs. a can of Duplicolor. I think it helps make the car look a bit less corpulent.

You really can't tell that the rockers are black until you get real close to the car on alloys. I'd say just stick with what you've got since it's not that noticeable.
