PJ Heritage Bumper paint the chin spoiler??
Just ordered the Saleen Heritage front bumper.
Looking for opinions of the finish of the chin spoiler.
I currently have the cdc chin spoiler, painted to match.
Nothing else is really black on my car other than the rear trunk being painted black between the tail lights, and tint on the turn signals and rear marker lights.
So do I paint the new chin spoiler body color, or leave it the black it comes?
I cant decide myself. I think it will look better body color, but then the black wont scratch or chip as easy.

NO freaking way would I paint it. Both the side panels and rear bumper also have the black trim to match the front bumper. Plus, it pays tribute to the original 1969 and 1970 Boss Mustangs that Parnelli drove. Neither of the street or race cars had a painted front spoiler to match the car (street=black plastic, race=plain sheet metal).

Well, my second point still applies. In the end- it's still you car. But, I truly love the way the PJ edition looks. The ONLY thing that I would change on the car is the ugly rear window louver panel. I would leave everything else alone.

Paint it.
As with all mods, you shouldn't look at how it looks on the car, you should look at how the car looks with it on, and with your current set up, you'd be better off being consistent. Your other parts are painted - paint this one.
Just one man's opinion though, what the hell do I know?
