I have a 2009 v6 that I am thinking about removing the side tape stripe. Has anyone done this? If so how difficult was it? What tools/cleaners did you have to use? Any info would be appriciated.

Did this to my 05 sixxer a few weeks ago all you have to do is get a heat gun(what i used) or probally even a blow dryer get the edge of the sticker hot then with your fingernail just peel it off. It comes off very easily. It should not leave any marks. just wash the area and wax it and you should be good to go. It took me like 30 minutes and it looks so much better. good luck

Ya, a blow dryer will work just fine and it will keep you from burning your paint if you keep it on it too long. If anything is left behine use WD-40, or Goo Gone to get it off.
