20" rims

i have o7 gt with 18" rims now... thinking about getting 20's will all tires for this have low profile ? just curious about potholes etc around my area which are still bad.. if this would be a good idea to get 20's or not

I have 20's but bought taller tires than the "recommended" size. Sidewall isn't that much less than what I had on my stock 17's. Wheels are 20x9 with 245/40 and 20x10 with 295/35 Nitto Invo tires.

Here's how they look on the car:

I have 20's with 255/35/20's all around, They're Goodyear GTs, and feel no ride difference from my 18" stockers.

Personally, I don't like the look of the 20's with the low profile tires. Plus, I've heard more negatives than positives regarding performance and handling.

20" wheels = less traction. How can you keep up with the ls1, ls2, etc with heavy ass wheels that get no traction?

what tires would be good to get on 18x9.5 cs69 shelby rims instead of the 20" cs69 rims

EH? My 20's have a lot more traction then the stockers, they also increased handling a lot!

Those wheels look great on your car, also is that the new Techno hood?

I have 20" Foose rims with Nitto 555 tires. 255/35 front and 275/35 rear. Great handling combo!

Hood

The Dark Horse / Speedstar Saleen wheels look great! Saleen used the 20" wheels with great success I guess everyone has different feel for the road. My S-281 handles like it's on rails. What hood are you using and how much did it cost? Looks great! The GT brakes get lost though, in those rims. Time for a big brake kit to stop all that reciprocating mass!
