I have 20's but bought taller tires than the "recommended" size. Sidewall isn't that much less than what I had on my stock 17's. Wheels are 20x9 with 245/40 and 20x10 with 295/35 Nitto Invo tires.

Here's how they look on the car:

I have 20's with 255/35/20's all around, They're Goodyear GTs, and feel no ride difference from my 18" stockers.

Personally, I don't like the look of the 20's with the low profile tires. Plus, I've heard more negatives than positives regarding performance and handling.

20" wheels = less traction. How can you keep up with the ls1, ls2, etc with heavy *** wheels that get no traction?

what tires would be good to get on 18x9.5 cs69 shelby rims instead of the 20" cs69 rims

EH? My 20's have a lot more traction then the stockers, they also increased handling a lot!

Those wheels look great on your car, also is that the new Techno hood?

I have 20" Foose rims with Nitto 555 tires. 255/35 front and 275/35 rear. Great handling combo!

Default Hood

The Dark Horse / Speedstar Saleen wheels look great! Saleen used the 20" wheels with great success I guess everyone has different feel for the road. My S-281 handles like it's on rails. What hood are you using and how much did it cost? Looks great! The GT brakes get lost though, in those rims. Time for a big brake kit to stop all that reciprocating mass!
