New (to me) 2007 GT
Just bought a used 2007 GT and boy do I love it! I have been furiously reading
all I can on the forums and I have some questions. I bought it from a chevy
dealership used sales so any warranty is the remainder of the factory. It has
28K and I am wondering if a couple of appearance items might be covered under
the factory warranty. The first is the rear GT emblem. As you can see in the
pic linked below, the black paint is chippin and peeling off.
The other is the steering wheel emblem. The pony looks like a "paint" horse:
I know its hard to see but there are dull spots all over the chrome places
in the emblem. Do I have any chance of getting them replaced or should
I just buy some replacements? I've seen the rear emblems available but
I may have a tougher time with the steering wheel. Thanks in advance
for your advice.

ps. I know, I am going to wash it this morning at sunrise, the dealer
"detail" was done yesterday afternoon and it was 101 in Dallas!

The only way to replace the steering wheel emblem is to replace the air bag. If you don't mind a custom emblem check out this thread:

As for the rear emblem, its not to hard to replace, you can even remove it in total and add the rear deck plate by CDC if you wanted. Check some of the sponsor's pages, most of them have the emblem or the deck plates.
