Default Pedal sets?

I am wanting to buy a set of pedals for my car (05 gt manual). I dont care about the looks part, I am after a bit more grip. Any type of wet weather and my pedals are super slippery. So I mainly want something that has a little bit of grip to them. I was gonna buy steeda's, but my buddy said his didnt really have much more grip than the stock ones. Can anyone confirm that? I like the price of the steeda's, but if all they do is look nice then they are not for me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If it were me, i would go with the new style of the Roush pedal kit...this pedal kit comes with a rubber insert on the pedals for increased grip as well as a stylish design....on roushperf.com they are like $130 but you can get them a lot cheaper from ebay...
