Anyone know where to get an insert (honeycomb) for the Roush hood scoop (Not the Billet kind - on ebay).

I am looking for a honeycomb one like the factory hood scoop. I have looked everywhere but can only find a Billet insert.

Looking for one myself. Thought about finding a wrecked car and getting the grill and experimenting. Maybe somebody will chime in with some news.

not sure man but i dont think anyone makes a honeycomb insert for the roush scoop....i have only seen the billet/chrome bar one with the line down the middle....if you want though, you chould easily mod your own from plastic or metal mesh...the plastic black piece in a roush scoop is just a rectangular piece of plastic fitted onto the scoop....just put some thought and patience into and and i think you can get it!

It doesn't have to be the same as the front grill mesh - just something to cover the plain flat black front on the Roush scoop. Someone had suggested using the material used at bars to put glasses on??? But You would have to cut it, fit it, etc...

I remember seeing one on ebay about 2 years ago but now can only find the billet insert.

This would be a great opportunity for someone with the skills and tools i think - I would buy one for at least $30 - $40. can't believe there isn't one out there...

Anyone find one?
