Door panel leather sagging - Possible solution here...
well i posted a few weeks back about the leather on my door panels starting to sag and separate from the door panels which is the only problem ive had, but 4 years of heat in the florida weather has taken its toll on the beast....

after posting about this the first time, i did get some good replies with some DIY solutions that might work other than forking out the cash for new ones from the dealer with no warranty which is pretty expensive....
i do have another solution in mind but will need to talk to someone maybe a forum member in the central florida area with red leather interior who is still under warranty and wouldnt mind swapping out panels to get the defective ones replaced under warranty....
i dont have a lot of experience with the dealership but this should work as long as they are still covered under warranty because this is something that has happened many times in the past...correct me if im wrong...
if there is anyone out there that wouldnt mind swapping out panels to get warranty replacements, i wouldnt mind providing cash compensation for the time and help...

okay...i went to an upholstery shop and they said to use contact cement....hmmm, it looks ill be taking the car to the workshop in my newly purchase home with garage this month!...ill post up a DIY tutorial since it looks like its going to be rather involved...
When they say cement, they mean glue.
It's even sprayable with a regular paint gun...
I used to do upholstery on Btritish cars and a 5 gallon can of that stuff lasted about a month.
3M makes spray cans of that contact cement but it's not as good as the industrial one.
It will work though...

Good luck ONF1R you can do this.
I sent him pm telling him that I would come out and help (heck do the whole thing for him) at less then $25 for supplies (adhesive, brushes - I even mentioed that I would bring the adhesive) but, he never called. I wouldn't have even charged him (that equals FREE You can't beat free). Oh well... I do all of m own work and this on a scale of 1 through 10 this is a 3 and thats because you have to wait for the cement to dry. When it's all done he'll laugh at himself once he realizes how easy it was.
Good luck ONF1R you can do this.
