I dont think you have to worry about anyone stealing your idea

After watching a couple you tube videos on spray on chrome im ready to paint my whole car that way. Im sure it wont look great but the spray on methods ive seen are well beyond impressive assuming they work as shown.

Ghost chrome on the SHR louvers maybe, but the ones like Roush and Cervini are too big and would draw too much attention IMO.
