Question Help: Is this a good price???

A professional guy from a licensed store said he can have all of my lights painted except head lights for $160. Good deal?

Here is the store's website:

http://www.chainreactionaz.com/801.html

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

For $160, I'll punch his lights out!
It's not hard to do, so put that 160 somewhere else on the car IMO.

I mean tail lights, turn signal lights, rear bumper lights and fog lights.

People kept saying, "have it done by a professional, it's the best way to do..."

Personally, if it were me, just walking in with no knowledge of the process, it sounds fair. Knowing what I do about the process: There isn't that much paint involved, but I am assuming you bring your car out, they remove and prep all the lights in question, paint, and reinstall them? Is that a 'you do nothing' price? If so, that's a lot of farking around for the guys at the shop to get all that done, so, materials, it wouldn't take that much, but in labor?

I would, however, check around with other reputable shops before I dropped that, just to make sure. If you get quoted a better price, go back to your 160 dollar shop, tell em Joe Schmo can do it for X, can you do it for that or better? I hate haggling, but I love the results... give it a go before you pay that. You'll feel better about it in the end!

What I'm going to do is, take these lights to them, they will spray paint it, and then I will get them back and install these lights myself. I should get a better price if I do it this way, right?

Taking everything off is most of that job.
Prepping and spraying the parts is a 15 minutes affair.
They have to give you a better deal in that case...

Yeaahhh. If you're doing the biggest part of the labor, you need a better deal. I completely agree...
