I'm gonna be installing a Roush hood scoop on my car today. However, before I go drilling away on my hood, has anyone had any rust issues on their hood from drilling holes into it???

Thats the only thing that worries me. Otherwise, the install seems pretty simple. Measure twice, drill once

well if that's the ONLY thing you have to worry about, you're good to go. Aluminum hood.

I bought a used, Ford factory scoop from another guy with a satin silver car. His scoop came from the factory. So he had no instructions, or template, just the scoop and the 4 nuts. It was a little intimidating, so I used the measure 12 times, drill correctly once. But it came out good.

I recently installed mine, measure like crazy. The template is great, make sure you find the center of the hood. I used a vacume to pick up the metal shavings after I drilled the holes. Good luck!
