Man. I've been following this thread... and I can't decide if I want my emblem painted black and my tails tinted or not. On a Torch Red car, I'm leaning toward leaving the tails alone since they blend in.

The emblem - not sure how it will look if I paint it black and have the black bumper to bumper stripe w/pins...

And I never get tired of seeing a blacked out S197.

i'm thinking about painting mine tungsten grey to match my car instead of black... GhostHorse, I think the black could look good on your car with your stripes. If not black you could always try torch red

The red emblem may well work. Esp. since I've done the calipers red.

I need to get my GIMP out and see what that looks like... hmmmm
