License plate bracket, stealth bracket
Well, that $60 one isn't too bad. The look on the cops face when you say "Excuse me officer. Please look again, I believe you are mistaken" is worth the $60. Of coarse you can't let him see you pull it out. Just the joy of making the Ahole tear up the ticket is priceless.
I hate front plates....yet another thing the state can get your cash for....glad we dont in MI and if we did I hope they would not give me a ticket for a show car that is rarely driven but if they did then I would just have to pay it.....I will never poke a hole (s) in my aftermarket front bumper cover unless it somehow looked functional and added HP!!!!..congrats OP on a nice fix for the problem.
Here in VA we are required to have a front plate, but I do see many show cars driving around without them. Some have the hide-away plate while others simply display the stupid plate in their wind shield.
I do wished we could do away with them, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Nice custom job dude..........I agree with you, no drilling of holes in bumpers!!
In Hawaii they require a front plate but you only get one sticker for the back plate when you renew your tags every year. Both my vehicles have a missing front plate. Its kept under the front seat. Was told most cops wont pull you over for just that but if they get you for speeding expect a fine for the missing plate too...........and the too dark tint! LOL

Yea, same here. Plates are required in Ca but they wont pull you over just for that. I hate front plates and never use them (as you can see in my sig). Unfortunately the dealer had already drilled the bumper when I got this car, so I put in a couple of really small screws to close the holes and painted them body color. You couldn't see them unless you are looking right at them. What I dislike is the license plate cut out in the bumper of the V6 that Ford made. I didn't like the way a full after market plate would look either since half is on the bumper and half hangs out, that bugged me a lot too. So I created my own design and placed a "No Fear" sticker in the slot. It frames in the skull nicely.
Also, as far as getting a fix it ticket here in Ca, it's not a choice of pay the ticket or put your plate on. It's a matter of pay the ticket AND put your plate on. You have to pay and get it signed off. In the old days it was, get it fixed and the fine was dismissed, but the municipalities here have gotten so greedy, that everything has a fine attached to it. I got an email from a buddy in NY the other day and he was telling me he got a ticket for not paying the toll, it was $33. I was laughing because he doesn't know how good he's got it. In CA a ticket like that would have been $330.
