License plate bracket, stealth bracket
So a police officer gave me a warning for no front license plate, and I didn't want to drill holes in the front bumper, so I did the next best thing and drilled inconspicuous holes in the front bumper.
Ace Hardware Materials:
1 piece of Aluminum stock
Stainless steel lock nuts, washers and bolts
Color match paint, with clear coat
Tools:
Hammer to bend aluminum and to smash thumbs
Hacksaw to cut aluminum and various work benches
Hand tools and drill
Calibrated Tape measure to NIST standards
I admit a misleading title, just the brackets are stealth, the plate is not. I just didn't want to drill into the front of the bumper.
I used electrical tape painted the color of the car to protect if the plate bent back and contacted the bumper. I also painted the aluminum under the body to match the car.
