Wow, that Ducktail really sets off the rear. I'd love to see how it would look with a pedestal wing.

I was never really too fond of the rears of the 2010's, but I have to admit, they've been growing on me quite a bit. I wonder if they're gonna redesign the rear for the 2011's...

I wonder and hope, too. The angled rear lights remind of some previous mustangs non-retro look. I'm itching to see the '11 engine combos before I buy another but the current styling change would hedge me to wait.

That would be really interesting, see if the car is really as true to that era as Ford claims. I think it'd look good, it would help set off how the rear tends to lean forward.

They redesigned the tail lights when the sn-95's came out, that's the only reason i'm hoping Ford will do the same with the 2011 model.

If only, lol

If you smoke the rear lights, or put a cover on them, they look much better. I was at my local dealer a few weeks back and they had some 2010's on the lot unmodified, and others were modified. Modified looked much better obviously. The after market modifications will soon start to roll out.

I agree. It definitely changes the overall look.

What exactly would it take to paint my 2010 rear bumper? Does the plastic need to be sanded and then I could just paint it? Can it be that simple?
