so ive been shopping around for black headlights lately but im starting to wonder.....is smoked the same as black? or is smoked a shade lighter than black? its hard to tell from some of the pix on certain sites. any help?? actual pix between the two would be AWESOME

not so much worried about price. just try'n to stay w/ a black/white theme for my car. i dont wanna get headlights that arent gonna be somewhat the same tint as the rest of my accessories. as far as sites.......steeda.com, AM, stage3, stangmods......like i said, just want'n to know if theres that big of a color difference between the two

 

i like smoke myself.. its black but with a tint on the lens..

 

so i should be ok if i got smoked headlights...even though im going for a white/black look right? not exactly easy to send things back from where you ordered them when your stationed overseas. doable, but such a damn hassle

i think they last a while, ive had mine for 18 months now and no problems, hids that is

 

if you want to just black out / smoke your headlights, i HIGHLY recommend looking up xpel. Its a tint overlay. You have to buy the whole kit which includes headlights,fogs,side markers.
