Default lower grille fog lamp mod

just modded my lower grille to install fog lamps, I ordered a couple of speaker box ports off the internet and installed them into the lower grille, they match the lower grille perfectly, next I have to fabricate some brackets so that I can mount the fog lamps, just above the opening for the fog lamp there is a threaded stud off the bumper reinforcement, that I'll be mounting the fog lamps to, it should be alot steadier mounting to the reinforcement then to the cover, then I can tap into the oem fog lamp harness and control the lamps with the oem switch.

Very nice. I did something similar for my GT/CS lower grill, but I could never aim them right so I ditched the idea.

I am looking at doing exactly that, I have the insert from my GT/CS bumper sitting on my desk for measurements. What side port is that? How big is the GT insert (I just upgraded to the CS fascia, but don't have the GT anymore to measure). Like outer diameter of the port, did you have to shave the top & bottom at all or its as is from the manufacturer?

I will be trying to do a brake cooling duct & lower grill fogs, similiar to the Shelby inserts.

the port I ordered had a 3" ID, it did fit tight but I didn't have to shave any off the top or bottom, I ordered the ports from:

No rush, but can you measure the outter diameter of the flare? The website only has the inner diameter of the port
