Default eibach pro kit worth it?

So a friend of mine from the panhandle drove down in his newly modded performance white GT. He got it lowered, slapped on vista blue stripes, wheelskin louvers, and got chrome tips for his exhaust. It's pretty awesome.

My car, looked like an SUV next to his. So I was seriously considering getting it dropped. I've heard good things about the eibach pro kit, so I was wondering;
-Is dropping your car legal in texas?
-anyone had clearance issues, (speed bumps, curbs, ect.)?
-do the new springs affect ride quality?

Thanks for your input guys.

Ride is somewhat harsher but looks and handling overide that. Well worth the money, just go slow when approaching inclines especially if you have a chinny chin chin

Okay just got mine on a couple of hours ago. Ride quality is the exact same. Its not rougher at all. It handles better without a doubt. It look sooooooo sick. I'm 110% satisfied. It was an excellent mod hands down. I would recommend it.

Does a drop do more as much for the looks with 18's as it does 20's? Or is a drop required no matter the wheel size. It may influence my wheel size decision.

This kit with 18s would look like a match made in heaven.
