Okay just got mine on a couple of hours ago. Ride quality is the exact same. Its not rougher at all. It handles better without a doubt. It look sooooooo sick. I'm 110% satisfied. It was an excellent mod hands down. I would recommend it.
What else was required besides the springs? Did you have to get an alignment and panhard rod?
Does a drop do more as much for the looks with 18's as it does 20's? Or is a drop required no matter the wheel size. It may influence my wheel size decision.
wheel size doesn't matter

glad to hear your car still rides good, but cutting the springs is something I would not recommend

as far as what is required, everyone is going to have their opinion...as far as what I recommend, you should at least have camber bolts, an adjustable pan-hard bar, and an alignment. if the funds are available, then this would also be a good te to replace the struts and shocks since everything is going to be apart

Since you only have a few hours on your springs your right they are not rougher at all on a smooth road. And Yes they are a rougher ride, listen to OP that are using them, and not just for a few hours or a ride home from the muffler shop

Here is one dropped in Texas. Added Eibach Pro springs, adj panhard, steeda adjustable upper struts with Tokicos all around. Drives great but careful on the inclines. No alignment needed yet.
I recently switched from the pro-kits to Steeda sport springs. I really liked the look of the pro-kits but I thought they were a little harsh. In all fairness the main problem was probably the stock shocks and struts which were also just upgraded to the Koni STR.Ts. The handling and ride quality are now greatly improved - wish I'd done it sooner. The pro-kits will lower you about a 1/4 inch more than the Steedas - looks like even more. The pro-kits ride fine on a smooth road and you have to be a little more careful with inclines, bumps, etc to avoid scraping the chasis.
