Default 2010 Dash Kits

Anyone have the brushed aluminum dash kit installed on their 2010? What is a good dash kit company to buy from or a good place to get one?

Here's a link for you.... I got mine from this site and got it pretty quick. They actually have most already in stock, where most sites will just place an order through someone else. Very happy with mine (although mine is wood not aluminum). Check them out. Price is pretty good too....

Is yours molded to the dash, meaning it has the same shape of the original dash and covers it completely at the ends?

Isn't brushed Aluminum what they normally come with or does the base model come with the darker panels like the 05-09 did?

Disodave, didn't you have to remove your stock panels? You could sell them to him for a few bucks and you could both win out (if that is the look he wants that is).

Mine came with the darker because its base. Also I am looking for the center console to be brushed so I would still need a kit. I think these kits glue on over your existing dash so I dont think he can sell me his anyway, not sure on this though.

There are different kinds of kits out there, but right now they're the type that stick right over the top of your existing console, door, etc.... The aren't molded completely but still look really good. Here are a few pics of what mine look like. The kit came with a ton more that I didn't put on, thought it would look like overkill if I put all of it on. For me, I wanted it to be subtle, and not to overtake the entire inside of the car. My 2010 came with the brushed aluminum in some spots, so I left those as is because the aluminum looks good. Basically, I covered all of the spots that were the flat black plastic.

2010V6Stang you may want to ask around or make another post that you will swap your dash parts since a lot of guys with the brushed aluminum parts wind up taking them off. Some guys paint them black, and some like the darker look that you have since the GT500 and the Saleen I think both have the dark dash look. Can't remember if the Roush does also. So there may be takers out there and you can do a swap for the cost of shipping.

Very nice dave, I generally hate the wood grain in stangs but I have to say with the aluminum top and dark wood its looks really good and luxurious lol. It just fits very nicely. Im still going for the all aluminum though haha.

Does anyone know the difference between the CAR ID (Sherwood) dash kit vs the v6mustangstuff (Superior Dash)? The superior dash comes in two parts and costs about double, is it better quality or something? Anybody have any ideas on this?
