The layout for the 6 gauge "My Color" cluster for the V6 is basically identical to the V8 version, with the exception that the 180 degree speedo arc ends at 120mph (vs 140mph) and the tach ends at 7K RPM instead of 8K (all the tick marks around the arc being respaced of course to be even)

My car is basically snowed in at the moment. I would probably be willing to ship my cluster out for examination to help develop a V6 version if we could agree to a fairly quick turnaround and that it comes back with the new face free (or at least heavily discounted) to cover the effort, shipping cost, etc.

 

Okay, I am confused then. I thought there were 2 styles of clusters with the 4 gauge being the V6 version. Check out the link and let me know which one is the V6 that everyone is asking me to make. Thanks.

WTH? I made a post last night asking if someone wanted to open their V6 cluster and send me a high quality scan of it. I'm sure we can work something out for your efforts.

 

In the pic, the bottom is the V6. V6 redlines at 6k and tops out at 120, while the GT has a higher redline and goes to 140

 

There are actually four different cluster styles for the 2005-2009 cars (five if you count the 07-09 GT500 which has a unique cluster).

There are 4 gauge clusters in both V6 and V8 flavors for the cars without MyColor and 6 gauge clusters in both V6 and V8 style for the MyColor cars.

Thanks for the link. I am going to make an assumption that everything except the scale of the speedo and tach are identical to the V8 cluster. If that's the case I'm pretty sure I can easily create one from what I already have. I'll work one up, you might have to test fit it for me though.

 

I want these gauges and im willing to do what is needed to get it done. If you need this in your hands and look at, it let me know and ill send it. Tell me where I need to ship it.
