I read this entire thread...and was thinking how late I was to this party, but it's still in the making, I'm very interested now. Very nice work.

The dash panel over the gauge cluster just pulls off. Lower the steering wheel to the lowest position. Grasp the dash around the chrome rings at the top and give a good pull. Then using a 7mm nut driver remove four screws to free the cluster from the dash. Gently remove it far enough to get to the plug on the back panel. It's one of those locking connectors. Be careful not to break the little plastic lever while unlocking it. The whole gauge cluster pops apart with some plastic clips after that. Really the hardest part is getting the needles back on all lined up properly.
Sounds pretty easy. Can't wait till you go live

Anxious? Us? Where did you ever get that idea?

REALLY sorry to hear about your headaches on the personal side. Seriously hope your wife is doing ok.

That sample looks excellent

Summer.

Seriously though it's looking that way. I don't want to keep teasing you guys by saying soon, soon. I have a couple out in the wild already. Got some feedback, making some small tweaks. The real problem right now is that I am slammed with production work now and I can't even get time on my equipment to mess around. So, if your still interested please be patient. I am still working on this, I haven't bailed out or anything. I actually can't wait to get some of these out to you guys. This just gives me some more time to come up with some more designs. I'd also like to hear some of your guys ideas as well.

Ive read this entire thread and i would like to say this is the best read on a forum i have had about a mod like this. For this to come from a Mustang owner is very very cool. I know how hard it is to balance work/family/hobby like this but im also terribly impatient when it comes to getting something i really want. So i applaud your efforts on this project Ford-a-tude. Your production and quality process seems to be headed in the right direction as well. Because a great idea can be spoiled with a rushed design and sub par quality control. Excellent work so far!

That being said, when and if you do design a custom gauge cluster for the 2011 model GT please let me know. Im subscribing to this thread and will continue to follow your progress. Good luck and im sure all your work will be rewarded once its done. Its a wildly popular mod and one that allows a Mustang owner to put a special touch on the interior of the car.
