Default S197: Smoked Tail Light Covers

Has anyone gotten the Smoked Tail Light Covers, specifically for the '10?

I'm looking a the GTS, which indicates easy installation. To me, easy to put on means easy to fall off. I do really like the look of them, though.

Most importantly, are those suckers street legal, and will my tail lights/blinker be obscured from the tint?

Paint them, this dude did, but left the clear parts, looks sweet on a white car.

Im sorry but thats way to dark. That gets you into the whole blacking out your stang look which I think destroys the classic look of the car.

Wow, dude, that does look really sweet. Wonder if the police have had a problem with that.

So all those smoked panels are cheap, or is SOMETHING out there good quality? Obviously like all you guys said, I don't want something cheap on my car.

My stang is black, so the look I'm looking for is to sort of "hide" my tail lights until I use them. So they will just blend into the back of the car. I wonder how your setup would look on the black.
