CUSTOM BATTERY HOLDDOWN
Made the plate out of 1/4" aluminum . Cut the grooves with my radial arm saw with a carbide blade. Piece was too short so welded the end pieces on the ends. Painted grooves black and ploished the plate with a buffing wheel and rouge.
Hold down bolts are 10/24 covered that with chrome 3/8" faucet connection tubing , capped the allthread with acorn nuts powdercoated black. Will be getting a black GT to put in the center of the plate. Ford swap meet coming up in Columbus Ohio in April.

Bridging the terminals of your battery with a chunk of aluminum...
PRICELESS!
Are you sure that thing can't shift a little bit and short out? That would be tragic if it did. Not trying to be a jerk, just looks kinda close to the terminals. Maybe split some fuel line and run it along the back edge as an insulator just in case.
