Default Spoiler delete

Anyone here have any suggestions on how to do a spoiler delete?? I have the Standard 08 Black GT trunk. Want to fill in the holes from the spoiler and the GT badge out back on the trunk lid to give the rear a nice sleeper look.

Not spending the $800 for a new hood or work done at the Ford Bodyshop.

If nothing else, I might coat the holes on the top where the spoiler used to be with some anti-rust and use little flat peices of plastic, duct taped from underneath to cover the holes from the inside and leave on the CDC rear deck panel.

Though what I really want is a blank trunk.

Any suggestions??

Body work is really the #1 choice for what you want. If you can't afford it, try doing it yourself. Another choice which is a little less sleeper is to fill the holes with Bondo and cover them with a stripe. The rear can be covered by a black out panel or stripe. Those would be the cheapest (yet not the best) way to do it. Another way is to swap trunk lids with another car with your color and no spoiler. Many V6 cars have no spoiler and use the same trunk lid.

easy. get some carriage bolts. caulk the under side of them, and paint the top of the head black.

thats what i currently have until the summer, works great. no leaks or anything, just compliments.

spoiler delete is the way to go

Id do this or epoxy a plastic peice under the hole and fill the hole with touch up paint so its level with the rest of the trunk. I would think if done correctly this would look the closest to no holes at all
