Default Installing hood vinyl over old scoop holes?

Well, plans/taste have changed a bit and I'm thinking about getting a new hoodscoop or new hood. I first bought my b9 scoop thinking I was going to get some 18" Magnum 500s to help off set the front end a bit (Larger rims). But, I love my stockers and have noticed that the scoop 'overshadows' the car from some angles.

I'm thinking about taking off my b9 scoop and installing the m1. Problem is, the scoop is larger than the M1 which means the bolt pattern is larger.

I'm assuming that if I DID install the hood black-out then install the new hoodscoop, the vinyl will start bubbling and fitting like ****. Is this right?

If that's the case, I'll start saving for a new hood. Not that that's a bad thing

Here's the scoop I have now:

Here's the one I would like to get, if possible:

The vinyl wont bubble but you will be able to see the indents in it from where the holes used to be. Nite did something like this for his car and he just filled in the holes with some sort of filler and vinyled over that. The material will need some sort of finish to stick to, which can be paint or clear. Otherwise it might look okay

That M1 scoop with the vinyl would look great on your car, Deadbeat. You thinking something like this?: https://www.rockymountaingraphics.co...&search=&page=

Or maybe a center stripe with pins: https://www.rockymountaingraphics.co...&search=&page=

Nice! Now i'll just have to find out what the best materials are for filler. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, man. I was thinking about RMG for the hood blackout. I've heard some good things about them. The guy from RMG said that the texture is like a semi-gloss black opposed to flatblack, which is better IMO. Thanks for the input
