after one year?! even with sun damage you still shouldnt have that bad of damage... unless you are 24/7 in the sun... have you tried 303 aerospace... it is like sunscreen for your vinyl.... i dont know if that is going to help restore them though... that is after you fix em...

I don't think thats sun damage. Looks more like mold or something. (The joy of white stripes lol ) Does it spend any time under a tree? (could be source of it). Don't forget vinyl is porous. Could even be dirt trapped under wax, especially since you said you tried removing it "with" wax... Strip the wax off.

Try washing the wax off with dawn liquid soap and water. (most will probably wash off with that alone I'm guessing) After that clean the stripes with "Mothers" carpet/upholstery cleaner. With the white stripes though I'd test it on a single inconspicuous spot (the Mothers) to make sure it won't discolor it to a different shade. (never tried it on white) It should get most, if not all that crap off. Then use a protectorate of your choice to shine em back up and protect 'em.

Just make sure you test a small spot 1st and let it sit in the sun for a day to make sure it doesn't yellow it at all. That would suck.
Like I said, I've never tried on white.

I had the same issue on my 07 with white vinyl stripes. Believe it or not, what I found to actually work like a charm was this stuff my wife has for cleaning our ceramic stovetop. Its called Ceramabrite. I was going crazy and tried everything with little or no help.

After I used this stuff I waxed them and they came out great. Take a look at the pics of my car and you'll see for yourself. Strange, but true.
