gils maui pony

I brought my '07 GT to put stripes painted on the hood 1yr ago and was able to find the tapered stripe size online somewhere. I got hit by a truck 2 weeks ago and brought in to get fixed, I told the guy 2x to remember to measure the strips because there not the same size front to back. well guess what? I go to P/U my car today and seen the flaw right away and he states that there was no taper on my old hood and he doesn't remember me telling him about it!!!
HELP, does anyone know where to find the sizes? I can't find.....I left my car there and said I was going to call GEICO and tell them I'm not paying for it untill it's resolved.......
