Default Should i paint my grille black?

A few days ago i got a used shelby gt grille for a good deal. After putting it on im wondering if i should paint it black or buy a black one or just simply leave it alone?

And if i were to paint it black whats a good paint to use on a grille for a gloss black finish?

the only thing i would worry about painting it is the paint eventually starting to peel or flake off. i would say just buy a black one if you want one that bad.

Black grille would look kick ***!

Leave that one alone and buy a black one.
Then swap grille every once in awhile to change the look.

Maybe it would just be worth buying a new one, since it only cost $100 for a brand new black one. Also this one is slightly damaged since it used. And this grille wouldnt be a complete waste of money since it comes with the grill housing that cost $120 and the pony emblem which cost $30 that i can re use on the black one.

I vote black.

They are easy enough to paint. Krylon indoor/outdoor gloss black looks nice. I touched up some scarring on mine with it. Matched the original paint perfect.

Okay I'm not very good at painting, so would I just sand down the grille and then spray a few coats of the krylon gloss black paint?

Black would look good, but painting it yourself isn't going to hold up. That area gets murdered by rocks and bugs.
