Default shorty antennea

I just cut off the factory antennae and put a black vacuum cap on the end, it is stronger than the shorty replacement and reception is just as good as stock

Pretty sure they're all the same. Did you check for rust? I've had mine on for a year and the part that screws in has rusted a fair bit. That could be making things difficult

I didn't think they changed the threads between models. Do you have all the extra threads that they usually come with?

The threads in my '06 antenna socket are 10-24.
