Default GT emblems on Front Fender removal

I don't like the GT emblems on the side of the front fenders and want to remove them. Fishing string and WD-40 or something else? Please instruct.

thanks

you can also use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the sticky stuff to make it easier to remove.

but be careful there are 2 pins that are behind the emblem that go into 2 holes in the fender.

All of the above are proven techniques to remove them with out damaging your paint. Just remember about the 2 alignment pins. You will also have 2 holes in your fenders from the alignment pins so plan on having something to put on in place of your GT badges.

Wow, thanks for the info regarding the holes. I didn't know that. Any suggestions on what to put in place of these cheesy GT emblems that look better?

I actually liked the running ponies I had with my V6 Pony Package stang moreso than these current GT fugly things.
