Got a light?

Got a light?
Thought I would share this quick and cheap fix for those who would like a cigarette lighter instead of a power outlet on the console. If it has already been covered, my appoligies...what can I say, I'm a newbie
One trip to autozone or advanced will cover it and it will only set you back about $20 to pull off. You need the following:
1. any lighter assembly of your choosing with a screw together rear housing...they all seem to be universal in size.
2. The magic gromet pictured.
3. A couple female post connecters to wire it up....and vola!
All pretty much straightforward stuff, remove the power outlet, insert gromet and new lighter assembly. A little sanding is usually required on the backside of the gromet to allow enought room to screw the lighter element together, but that's it...should take you about 30-40 minutes tops.
Standard and high performance cigarette approved

No offense intended since it IS your car, but I'd rather have someone vomit on my hood than have someone smoke in my car. Cigarette smoke odor can NEVER be eliminated. I've turned down some sweetheart, killer deals on used cars just for that reason.

I'd rather have someone vomit in my car than smoke (tabacco) cigarettes in my car, but nuke you have to consider...He may need the heat for something else (my cousin actually ties flies (fishing) using his truck lighter at the lake). 2. He may not

I know. I was just stating my opinion about the odor. And people have every right to do as they wish to their car, of course. If I needed a lighter, I'd be jumping on it. But being the engineer that I am, I'd be placing the existing wire size and circuit protection under strict scrutiny.
