So last monday i put my car in the shop to get a cervinis type IV ram air hood with billet inserts painted and put on. i'm gettin it monday around 3:30 but the i got school and stuff so i may have one or two pics that night but i'll get more on tuesday! cant wait to see it!!

congrats! ive been looking for a hood too but people say painting is expensive..how much did it cost you?

hood was $720 shipped.
paint and install by the shop was $550.

My god they charge that much to paint a hood? I was thinking $200-$300. Want to see pics though!

im surprised it wasn't more...depending on the color, they may have to blend the hood with other parts so it matches...i'm getting new fenders, and have the collision center where i work(car dealer) paint and install, and they quoted me $1500 for paint and install...for FENDERS

That seems like a pretty decent deal. That hood in particular seems to be a tough one to paint/prep from what I've heard

sorry yall i've been busy since i've gotten her back. I have gotten a ton of compliments and i absolutely love it. i'm goin to wash her then i'll take some pics for yall!
